How to clean your gas stove grates/burners…

Standard

I have tried nearly every product on the market the promises to “cut the grease and remove cooked on stains” and all have left me disappointed!! Wanna know the secret to a SPOTLESS stove top? Here it is:

Place grates (drip plates and burner caps if you want) in a plastic garbage bag.

Pour in approx 1/2 cup of ammonia. The stove parts will NOT be submerged!! I suggest you do this outdoors or in a well ventilated room.

**Ammonia can be dangerous..please click here for proper handling instructions**

Tie up the bag so it is airtight & wait 30-60 minutes

Remove stove parts. Simply rinse away the ammonia and cooked on food.  Some of the REALLY cooked on residue may require a little scrubbing, but most will have already dissolved from the ammonia fumes.

Waaaa-lll-aaaaaa!! Clean, clean, clean! You could eat off of those puppies!
